Trading with a link code: You must first arrive at the first Pokemon Center in Los Platos to enable trading. In order to trade Pokemon online, players will have to access the Poke Portal. Access the Main Menu by pressing the X button. Connect to the internet by pressing the L button. Scroll down to Poke Portal and press the A button. Scroll down to Link Trade and press the A button. Enter the Link Code I provided by pressing the + button and then press Begin Searching.
